BLS Unit Asigned to Strike Team

On January 15th at approximately 15:45 hrs District 4 Fire / Rescue was requested to asign a BLS unit to a Middlesex County Strike Team for a Plane Crash in the Hudson River. District 4 was able to muster a crew and respond with a strike team from Middlesex County. BLS Unit 17 responded with a crew of 3 and remained in staging near the George Washington Bridge. Since the pilot & crew did such an amazing job no additional transport units were needed and all units were released as of approximately 17:00 hrs.
