April 29, 2008- School Buses Collide

On Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 08:57 hours, North Stelton Fire responded to an MVA with fluids in the roadway on Metlars Lane in front of Hadley Medical Center. Engine 621 responded with FF/EMT C Aumack, FF/ EMT M Fisher, FF N Higgins, and Probie T White. When the engine arrived on scene, it staged in Hadley Medical Center's parking lot, and the crew applied 6 bags of mineral absorbent. All together, two school buses and two passenger cars were involved. There were multiple children on the short bus, and no children in the long bus. There were no reported injuries. Brush 624 responded with FF J Rowe and FF K Light. Incident Command was Patrolman D Nee. All units were clear and available at 09:29 hrs.
