On August 8, 2008 at approximately 20:50 Hrs Engine 622 to requested for a cover assignment at South Plainfield Fire Head Quarters. This was while they were operating at a 2nd Alarm Structure Fire with a burn victim within thier town. Engine 622 responded with a a crew of 5 under the command Lieutenant Scarpa. Engine 622 was also standing by with an Engine from Metuchen and a truck from Colonia, all companies were back in quarters by about 23:00Hrs.
